Consumer generated fireworks !

Firefox has just announced a campaign to generated consumer generated Testimonials and Ads.

They have even created a website utility that allows you to record a testimonial directly from your webcam.
As part of their Spread Firefox website, Mozilla is lauching this campaign to support the upcoming 1.5 release of the Firefox browser.

This is a great example of a brand tapping into the passions of their own consumers and also involving them in the marketing of the product. What’s the first thing a consumer will do once they submit an ad or testimonial for Firefox? Tell their friends to log on and watch it!
