Yahoo to launch 100 brand sites

Yahoo plans to launch 100 sites using links to it’s popular sites like del.icio.us, Yahoo Answers (celebrating the demise of Google Answers), Yahoo Avatars, and Flickr.

The first has just launched and is built around the Wii.

Perspective: this is a clever play by Yahoo to provide a compelling social media platform for 100 of the top brands.
