Embracing Consumer Generated Content .. there will be a new category as part of the MTV Movie Awards. The category is to be called “Best Movie Spoof” and will allow the general public to submit video spoofs of the past year’s movies.
Voting will take place online and the top 5 video spoofs chosen willb e flown to the MTV Awards night.
MTV already encourage consumers to generate content for their Starzine online magazine.
And they recently announced a move to introduct MTVU . .a user generated MTV channel.
